Concept
 
「Mystique」は、神秘性と、人を惹きつける魅力をテーマに制作した映像作品です。
展示テーマである「CATS & FASHION – Living with Cats」から、猫という存在そのものが持つミステリアスさに着目しました。高貴で、気まぐれで、人に媚びることなく、それでいて強く人を惹きつける——その在り方を、本作における美の象徴として捉えています。
作品は、**猫・ファッション・生活（インテリアデザイン）**という3つの要素を軸に構成。ファッションには洗練とユニークさを、日本的な空間表現には障子や屏風、余白や陰影を取り入れ、静謐で精神性のある世界観を構築しました。
また、石岡瑛子氏やセルジュ・ルタンス氏の作品に見られるような、見る者を知的に、そして強く惹きつける神秘的な表現への憧れを、自身の感性とAIによって再解釈しています。
AIによる映像生成、編集、音楽制作を横断しながら、猫・ファッション・空間をひとつの世界として統合することで、結果的に自身の美意識やアイデンティティを映し出す作品となりました。
 

“Mystique” is a visual work created around the themes of mystery and irresistible allure.

Inspired by the exhibition theme, “CATS & FASHION – Living with Cats,” I focused on the inherent mystique of cats themselves. Noble, capricious, and never eager to please, yet undeniably captivating, their presence became a symbol of beauty in this work.

The piece is built around three elements: cats, fashion, and living spaces (interior design). Fashion brings together sophistication and uniqueness, while Japanese-inspired spatial elements such as shoji screens, folding screens, negative space, and the interplay of light and shadow create a serene, contemplative world with a sense of spirituality.

I was also inspired by the mysterious forms of expression found in the works of Eiko Ishioka and Serge Lutens—works that captivate the viewer both intellectually and emotionally. I reinterpreted this fascination through my own sensibility and the possibilities of AI.

By moving fluidly across AI-generated imagery, video editing, and music creation, I integrated cats, fashion, and space into a single cohesive world. In the process, the work ultimately became a reflection of my own aesthetic sensibility and identity.
